Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Conducts interviews to determine eligibility for assistance and re-determines continuing eligibility.
  • Explains temporary assistance programs and determines need for assistance.
  • Processes applications for financial assistance and diversion; explains client responsibilities and program availability.
  • Evaluates data for consistency and completeness and substantiates accuracy.
  • Calculates assistance plans.
  • Evaluates social factors such as education, work experience, and levels of functioning.
  • Assesses employability and explores income sources.
