This position will serve as the Economic Assistance County Director for the Marshall County MDHS office. This role is responsible for the county-level TANF and SNAP eligibility processes, maintaining positive relationships with local government, businesses, etc., oversight of county office employees, and resolving client complaints, as needed. The County Office Director is also responsible for ensuring reports are completed, and bills are submitted timely.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good customer service skills, and an ability to balance a large workload while managing others is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree, 4-6 years of experience, and 1-2 years of supervisory experience. Hiring agency additional qualifications:A minimum of 4 years' experience in determining SNAP and/or TANF eligibility and a minimum of 6 years of supervisory experience is required.
