Austin Benefits Group is seeking a Benefit Client Advisor who will own the client relationship end-to-end for a diverse book in business insurance. You will lead onboarding, renewals, and day-to-day support while providing strategic planning and solutions for clients.

Role emphasizes education, cross-sell growth, and high-visibility collaboration with leadership, analytics, and support teams, all within a collaborative culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in employee benefits or business insurance at a brokerage, agency, or carrier.
• Proven ability to retain and grow a client portfolio.
• Strong communication with CFOs and HR teams.
• Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage complex accounts.
• Self-directed and accountable; data hygiene matters.

Responsibilities

• Own the client relationship end-to-end—from onboarding and renewals to day-to-day support and strategic planning.
• Lead the full renewal process, protecting client interests and firm's retention goals.
• Develop customized service plans and conduct benefits education sessions in-person and virtually.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and grow account revenue year over year.
• Resolve claims, billing, and administrative issues promptly.
• Coordinate coverage transitions between clients, carriers, admins, and employees.
• Maintain accurate records in the agency management system.
• Stay updated on healthcare compliance and industry trends.
• Participate in industry events and networking to grow presence.
• Collaborate with Analytics and Client Support teams when needed.
