Store Managers at Dollar Tree are responsible for the following:

1. Managing the profitable operation of a retail store with emphasis on recruiting, hiring, training, and developing store associates in both operations and merchandising.
2. Performing all opening and closing procedures.
3. Implementing all operational and merchandising direction that is communicated from the Store Support Center.
4. Maintaining a high standard of merchandising, placement, store signage, and proper display techniques to create an inviting atmosphere for customers.
5. Assisting in the realization of your store's maximum profit contribution.
6. Protecting all company assets.
7. Maintaining a high level of good customer service.
8. Creative problem solving in areas such as:
   1. Associate Development
   2. Maximizing Sales Potential
   3. Controlling Expenses and Shrink
   4. Merchandise Display
   5. Store Signage Placement

What we need from you:

• Minimum 3 years of prior retail management experience.
• Background in dealing with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience is a plus.
• Strong productivity management ability in freight processing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
