Aerospace Dynamics International, Inc. (ADI) manufactures machined parts and assemblies for the commercial and military aerospace industries. It offers structural components, caps, panels, bulkheads, fittings, longerons, spars, chords, wing ribs, thrust reversers, structural machine parts, manufacturing tooling and stretch form blocks.

Position Summary

Level two bench grinders/deburr operators work with minimal assistance to perform all levels of hand finishing tasks. They are responsible for edge breaking and using a variety of deburr tools and media to achieve specified surface finishes on a number of different materials. This position requires the ability to read basic print and to understand different deburr media uses and applications. Operators must hold dimensions when deburring and will gain an intermediate understanding of customer specifications and customer requirements. They will demonstrate the ability to use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers and profilometers. This position typically requires 1‑5 years of experience.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with little assistance to conduct bench/deburring operations frequently on products containing critical features and close tolerances on machined aerospace parts.
• Interpret plans, work orders, blueprints and drawings to determine how to conduct necessary bench (deburr, etc.) operations.
• Use various measuring instruments to accurately accomplish bench/deburring tasks.

Required Experience

• Experience working in an aerospace manufacturing environment preferred but not required.

Pay and Benefits

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $23.00 to $26.75 USD hourly based on a variety of factors. Eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 104 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees and their families are eligible to participate in the company’s medical dental vision and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
