Job summary

Equator Coffees in San Francisco seeks a Bench General Manager to lead a designated home store and its team. You will shadow current managers, collaborate with the District Manager, and drive hiring, training and development to uphold our standards of excellence.

This role focuses on creating schedules, payroll accuracy, and addressing customer concerns. You will help drive sales, monitor KPIs, and identify opportunities for improvement while building leadership capabilities for future home

Qualifications

• Passion for coffee and ability to inspire it in others.
• Management experience in specialty coffee, retail, hospitality or customer service.
• Must maintain SERVSafe Manager Certificate.
• Experience recruiting, hiring, and managing staff.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Minimum High School or GED.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and develop store staff; work with District Manager on performance improvements.
• Create and manage schedules; ensure payroll accuracy and timeliness.
• Drive sales and monitor KPIs; identify areas for improvement.
• Foster a positive team environment with clear communication.
• Lead change and adapt to fast-paced operational needs.
