Teach For America is seeking a Community Conversation Facilitator (Temp) for Greater Baton Rouge to lead in-person, belonging-focused conversations over meals with cohorts of 1st and 2nd year corps members. Training and debriefs are part of the role, with conversations scheduled in winter 2026 and spring 2027.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in belonging work with adults and 2+ years of ECE-12 teaching experience, showing strong facilitation across diverse groups and a commitment to ongoing

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional work experience with belonging work and/or with adults.
• At least 2 years of ECE-12 teaching experience with demonstrated student outcomes.
• Exemplary experience & belonging facilitation with adults, responsive and agile.
• Core belief that people can learn, grow, and change.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and self-awareness.
• Experience working across lines of difference.

Responsabilités

• Internalize and prepare for conversations/meals, including reflections to share with corps members.
• Attend 1-2 hours of training and rehearsal.
• Facilitate conversations/meals (about 1 hour).
• Spend 30-60 minutes to debrief the conversations/meals.
• Available to facilitate all conversations in person.
