Statement of Duties:
Assists with treatment or applications of remedies for the cure, alleviation, or prevention of speech disorders.
Assists in the Organization of speech program in assigned schools. Assists in the Planning of the therapy schedule including pupils in groups or individual, depending upon their classification and severity. Assists in providing information for evaluations for Team Meetings.
Consults with classroom teachers.
Assists with the Notification to parents of findings and progress via semi-annual reports.
Assists in keeping accurate individual records.
Assists with the Completion of IEP’s when requested.
Responsible for other general duties as indicated by the Director of Pupil Personnel Services, Principal, directives of the Superintendent of Schools, or his/her designees and policies of the Saugus School Committee.
