Job summary

The Edgewater Hotel in Madison, WI seeks a Bellperson/Valet to warmly greet guests, escort them to rooms, and transport luggage while maintaining a courteous, professional service level. Flexible scheduling includes days, nights and weekends.

A High School diploma, clean driving record, and ability to drive a manual transmission are required. Prior guest service or hospitality experience is a plus; you should read, listen, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a clean driving record and the ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Previous guest service experience; hospitality experience is a plus.
• Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Physically able to lift and carry boxes and luggage up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner and escort them to accommodations.
• Assist guests with luggage and manage valet operations for day, night, and events.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities and local area to enhance guest experience.
