Overview

Montelucia Resort and Spa

Nestled at the foot of the picturesque Camelback Mountain in the exclusive enclave of Paradise Valley, the Montelucia Resort & Spa features 253 luxurious guestrooms, 38 suites, and two presidential suites. The property’s distinctive architecture is inspired by the rich history, white-washed villages, and sun-drenched hills of Spain’s Andalusia region. The property also includes the award-winning Moroccan-inspired Joya Spa, three resort pools, and five dining options including the critically acclaimed restaurant, Prado. The resort, which is adjacent to the cities of Phoenix and Scottsdale, offers easy access to golf, recreation, nightlife, and entertainment.

Job Description

+ To provide assistance and services for guests, as well as the hotel, in order to ensure pleasurable accommodations.

Responsibilities

  1. Use friendly and appropriate expressions when engaging guests.
  2. Be fully acquainted with the different points of interest.
  3. Ensure the delivery of packages to guestrooms, executive offices, or meeting rooms.
  4. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of public areas and the bell closet.
  5. Follow up on guest complaints to ensure issues are resolved.
  6. Utilize bell carts effectively and with caution.
  7. Ensure the floor is covered 100% of the time, including the Front Desk.
  8. Direct guests to the Front Desk or meeting rooms.
  9. Call taxis and/or shuttles for guests as needed.
  10. Assist, retrieve, and load luggage for guests.
  11. Notify the Front Desk and Guest Services of VIP arrivals whenever possible.
  12. Engage in conversation with guests to enhance their experience.
  13. Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.
  14. Complete all tasks assigned by the manager.
  15. Help guests locate other areas of the hotel, walking them to their destination if possible.
  16. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure a clean uniform and professional appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
  17. Adhere to all safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications.

Qualifications

  1. Excellent customer service skills.
  2. Strong communication, presentation, training, and organizational skills.
  3. Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  4. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  5. Fluent in English.
