Job summary

Remi Hotel in downtown Scottsdale, part of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Bellperson to assist guests with luggage and provide brand-standard service in a lively Entertainment District.

This role requires up to date knowledge of hotel facilities with the ability to communicate in English and a preference for Marriott brand familiarity and at least one year of bellperson experience.

Qualifications

• One year hotel bellperson experience preferred.
• Marriott brand and service knowledge is highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with luggage and transport to/from rooms while delivering brand-standard service.
• Explain hotel facilities, locations, hours, and safety features to arriving guests.
• Remain at the front of the hotel and lobby area when on duty.
• Maintain the front lobby area including cleaning and trash removal as needed.
• Deliver messages, packages, and mail to guests as needed.
• Manage traffic flow at the front of the hotel and ensure safety.
• Be available to work on a regular basis.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Assist all guests with luggage, transporting luggage to and from guest rooms as requested while providing excellent brand standard customer service.
• Explain all hotel facilities to arriving guests, their locations in the hotel and hours of operation, to include fire exits and safety features of the hotel.
• Remain in the front of the hotel and lobby area when on duty and not assisting a guest.
• Maintain the front of the hotel and the lobby area for cleanliness, such as trash removal, mopping up spills, sweeping up trash, emptying trash cans, as needed.
• Deliver messages and packages and mail to guests as needed.
• Maintain the traffic flow at all times in the front of the hotel.
• Ensure safety measures are followed for area.
• Available to work on a regular basis.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• One year hotel bellperson experience preferred.
• Marriott brand and service knowledge is highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English.
