Job summary

JdV Oceanside, part of the Hyatt collection, is seeking a Bell Attendant to welcome guests and manage luggage with courteous service. The role supports Front Office and Valet teams to escort guests to rooms, ensuring safe handling of belongings and timely assistance.

Hourly rate is $17.00/hr. Candidates should be able to stand, lift up to ~50 pounds, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Desire to satisfy guests in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to lift, pull, push, and twist with up to ~50 pounds.
• Ability to lean, crunch, twist, crouch, bend.
• Must communicate in English.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Escort guests to and from their rooms.
• Transport luggage to and from rooms efficiently.
• Lift luggage from bell cart into rooms and vehicles.
• Deliver room amenities.
• Assist with guest requests.

Bell Attendants are in constant communication with the Front Office & Valet to ensure: Guests and their luggage are escorted to and from their rooms.

The hourly rate for this position is $17.00/hr

Responsibilities, include, but are not limited to:

• Escorting guests to and from their room.
• Transporting guest luggage and personal items to and from their rooms efficiently.
• Carefully lifting luggage from bell cart into room and vehicles.
• Dropping room amenities.
• Assist with guest requests.
• Conduct oneself professionally keeping the Hyatt Values and Forbes standards in mind.
