Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Denver is seeking a courteous guest services associate to assist arriving and departing guests with luggage, deliver items to rooms, and help transport hotel packages. You will also provide shoeshine services and help guests with directions and requests, delivering the high-touch hospitality the brand is known for in the Mile High City.

Hours are eight per day on a varied schedule, with an hourly rate of $19.29.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and escorts them to their rooms and delivers luggage upon check-in and picks up luggage upon departure.
• Moves luggage to storage or the Front Drive and maintains records of deliveries and pickups.
• Provides shoeshine service by collecting shoes from guest rooms, cleaning, polishing, and returning them.
• Delivers newspapers and other requested items in a timely manner.
• Greet guests in lobby and offer assistance.
• Adhere to Four Seasons’ Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
• Work harmoniously with coworkers and supervisors.
• Performs errands for guests and the hotel as needed.

BASIC PURPOSE:

Assists guest with luggage during arrival and departure, makes necessary deliveries to and pick up from guest rooms, transports guest and hotel packages and parcels. Shines guest shoes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Greets guests and escorts them to their rooms. Delivers luggage to room upon check-in and picks up luggage from room upon departure, moving the luggage to storage or the Front Drive. Maintains proper records of deliveries and pick-ups.
2. Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints, assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
3. Performs shoeshine service; picking up shoes from guest room, cleaning and polishing them and returning them to the guest.
4. Collects guest requests for morning newspapers, places newspapers in bags and delivers the desired newspaper in a timely manner.
5. Greets all guest passing through lobby and offers them assistance.
6. Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
7. Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
8. Performs errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off of the hotel property.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Provides a high level of cleanliness in the lobby and luggage storage room.
2. Assists guests at the Concierge Desk.
3. Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Door Staff and Valet Parking Staff.
