Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality seeks a polished Bell Attendant for Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale. You will warmly welcome guests, assist with luggage, escort to rooms, and coordinate with front desk to ensure a seamless arrival experience.

As part of a luxury property, you will maintain a professional lobby presence, support VIP requests, and help with guest departures and transportation arrangements. Prior luxury hotel experience is a plus, and flexibility for AM/PM shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for precise luggage handling and guest interactions.
• Ability to work quickly and multi-task across duties in a busy luxury hotel environment.
• Prior experience in a luxury hotel or upscale hospitality certification is a plus.
• U.S. work authorization is required to join the team.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet arriving guests and assist with luggage for a seamless check-in.
• Escort guests to rooms and provide a brief orientation of features and services.
• Manage luggage storage and retrieval with accurate tracking and labeling.
• Anticipate guest needs by suggesting directions, local attractions, and hotel amenities.

We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded Bell Attendant to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort team! Reporting to the Director of the Front Office, the Bell Attendant will perform all duties connected with meeting and greeting and assist in ensuring the delivery and retrieval of luggage to all guests in a courteous, timely, and professional manner in accordance with Pier Sixty-Six, AAA, and Forbes Travel Guide Standards.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet arriving guests and provide efficient luggage assistance, ensuring a seamless check-in experience.
• Escort guests to their rooms, provide a brief orientation of room features and assist with any special requests.
• Manage the storage and retrieval of guest luggage with precision, maintaining accurate tracking and labeling for efficient service.
• Anticipate guest needs by offering assistance with directions, recommendations for local attractions, and information on hotel amenities.
• Maintain a polished, professional presence in the lobby, readily available to assist with guest inquiries or support the front desk team.
• Promptly and courteously deliver packages, amenities, and other requested items directly to guest rooms.
• Collaborate with front desk and concierge teams to ensure smooth communication regarding guest arrivals, special requests, and VIP needs.
• Assist with guest departures by retrieving luggage, arranging transportation, and ensuring a gracious farewell experience.
• Ensure the lobby, entryway, and luggage storage areas are clean, organized, and free from clutter.
• Provide support for special guest requests, such as assisting with large groups, arranging event transportation, or facilitating guest deliveries.
• Assist with other duties as requested.

Qualifications

• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to work quickly and multi-task.
• Prior experience in a luxury hotel or upscale hospitality-related certification is a plus
• Work authorization in the United States
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to eight hours per shift.
• Must be able to maneuver luggage carts weighing up to 200 pounds and lift and carry items up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write in the basic English language.
• Flexible schedule required for AM and PM shifts.
