Rural Metro Fire Department is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) in Lovington, NM. This is a full-time position offering a starting salary between $91,335 and $132,340 annually. The technician will ensure the safety and maintenance of the fleet, focusing on Bell 407 aircraft.

Qualifications

• Three years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience required.
• Valid State issued Driver's license is necessary.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory checks for supplies and equipment.
• Document service paperwork and comply with FAA requirements.

Skills

Bell 407 maintenance experience

Turbine helicopter maintenance experience

Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license

Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations

Ability to work flexible schedules

Education

High School diploma or GED equivalent
