Job summary

West Michigan Janitorial (WMJ Services) is seeking an Evening Custodian/Janitor in the Belding area to maintain clean and safe school facilities. This role supports district and campus needs within West Michigan, using standard cleaning practices and inventory management.

No experience is required to start. Responsibilities include cleaning, stocking and sanitizing restrooms, disposing of trash, mopping and sweeping floors, dusting surfaces, window cleaning, and maintaining supplies.

Qualifications

• No experience required for Custodian/Janitor role.
• Effective communication with manager and staff regarding issues and supply needs.
• Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods; lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to use motorized cleaning equipment (vacuum, floor cleaners).
• Must pass background check & fingerprinting.

Requirements of Custodian/Janitor:

• No Experience, No Problem!
• Effectively communicate with manager and other staff regarding issues and supply needs
• Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to use motorized equipment (vacuum, hand operated floor cleaners)
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety related materials
• Must be able to pass a background check & fingerprinting
