Pyramid Healthcare is a national leader in Behavioral Healthcare. We operate a residential Substance Use Disorder treatment center in Gibsonia for young adults. We are currently seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to support our clients and staff. The BHT plays an integral role in our clients’ well-being and daily operations, supporting clients through every aspect of their day. Pay rate - $15/hr plus shift differentials

Shift: 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm

Responsibilities:

• Assist with intake process for new clients.
• Communicate with staff via verbal and written logs, maintaining detailed client records.
• Listen to clients concerning all treatment areas, maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment, including crisis intervention.
• Coordinate activities such as lectures, recreation, and meetings.
• Conduct mandatory bed checks and complete shift reports.
• Attend shift change, team, and company meetings.
• Ensure client schedules are followed daily.
• Assist with interventions and follow treatment plan objectives.
• Monitor medication lines.
• Transport clients to meetings and recreation activities.
• Conduct searches upon clients’ return to the facility.
• Monitor hygiene and medical needs of clients.
• Uphold therapeutic boundaries and staff code of ethics.
• Evaluate behavioral and emotional needs, providing input.
• Distribute snacks as needed.
• Train new staff members.
• Assist with facility upkeep.
• Help clients obtain sponsors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, experience in Drug and Alcohol/Mental Health fields.
