Job summary

As part of an interdisciplinary team, this position is responsible for providing evaluations, assessments and/or interventions using a behavioral approach, grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis, to optimize full access to care for patients in Hackensack Meridian Children's Health.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
  • Master's degree in Special Education or related human services field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder
  • Demonstrated experience in the evaluation, development and management of treatment plans for children and adolescents with complex behavioral challenges
  • Demonstrated experience working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to demonstrate competence in behavior management skill, instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills and interpersonal relations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience in a healthcare setting
Licenses and Certifications Required
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • Licensed to practice in New Jersey
