Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking Behavior Technicians to join our home-based treatment team. BTs work 1-1 with children aged 2–15 under the supervision of BCBAs to implement individualized behavioral plans.

You will collect data, report progress, train families, and communicate with the care team. The role offers a fixed schedule 3pm-7pm, Monday through Friday, with some weekends and compensation of $20-$30 per hour.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience with children preferred.
  • Experience with behavioral challenges or special needs preferred.
  • Reliable personal transportation with ability to commute to locations.
  • HIPAA confidentiality awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
  • Collect data to monitor progress of the individualized treatment plan and report progress.
  • Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
  • Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
  • Assist with physical activities during sessions (standing, bending, lifting, etc.) to keep pace with children 2–15 years old.
  • Fixed schedule Monday-Friday 3pm-7pm, some weekends.
  • Comp $20-$30 per hour.

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization, providing the gold standard of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. We are looking for Behavior Technicians (BT's) to join our growing team. Our BT's are an essential part of the treatment team- providing 1-1 specialized treatment in partnership with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts to our clients in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities

  • Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including, but not limited to, standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old
  • Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA
  • Fixed schedule Monday-Friday 3pm-7pm, some including weekends
  • Comp $20-$30 per hour

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience working with children preferred
  • Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred
  • Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided
  • Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locationsAbility to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities
