Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Los Angeles is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities, helping them build communication, social, and daily living skills. Paid training, certification support, and ongoing mentorship are provided, with flexible part-time hours and competitive hourly pay.

You will work under supervision of a BCBA, track progress with a mobile app, and collaborate with families and supervisors to support client

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience working with children preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using technology for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities.
• Help clients build communication, social, play, and daily living skills.
• Implement ABA behavior treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
• Encourage progress and celebrate meaningful milestones.
• Track client progress using a mobile application.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, supervisors, and families to support client success.
