Job summary

Behavioral Innovations (BI) is looking for Entry-Level Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) at their Durham Treatment Center to deliver clinic-based ABA therapy to children aged 18 months to 10 years.

This position provides a comprehensive training program, BCBA supervision, and opportunities for career advancement, from ABA Intern to Clinical Leadership. Candidates with a high school diploma should apply to make a difference and build a rewarding career.

Behavioral Innovations is hiring Entry‑Level Behavioral Technicians / Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide clinic‑based ABA therapy to children with autism.

What You’ll Do

• Provide 1:1, center‑based ABA therapy to children (18 months–10 years)
• Implement treatment plans under BCBA supervision
• Collect and record behavioral data
• Support skill development, communication, and social interaction
• Participate in training, supervision, and team collaboration
• Maintain a safe, clean therapy environment

Pay & Career Growth

Hourly Pay:

• Entry Level: $16.00/hr
• RBT I–V: $17.25–$21.75/hr
• Senior RBT: $23.00/hr

Future BCBA Career Path: ABA Intern → Lead RBT → ABA Apprentice → BCBA → Clinical Leadership

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation to the clinic
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification within 60 days (if not certified)

Preferred:

• Active RBT certification
• Experience with children, autism, or developmental disabilities
• Backgrounds in childcare, education, behavioral health, or related fields
