Job summary

Pops-Aba is seeking compassionate Behavioral Technicians to support children with autism and other developmental disabilities. You will collaborate with a BCBA to implement individualized behavior intervention plans across home, school, and community settings, delivering proven ABA strategies and tracking progress.

You will help clients build communication, social, and daily living skills, document data, communicate with families, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with ABA

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and implement plans.

Responsibilities

• Implement customized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by the BCBA.
• Work one-on-one with clients using ABA methods such as DTT and naturalistic teaching.
• Record and document client behavior and progress with provided tools.
• Support clients in building communication, social interaction, self-care, and daily living skills.
• Create an encouraging and positive learning environment, promoting engagement and autonomy.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other professionals to monitor progress and ensure consistency across settings.
• Maintain clear communication with families, caregivers, and team members, sharing updates and information.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with ABA practices.

Behavioral Support Technician (BST) Position Summary:
