Starlight Behavioral Health, an ncgCARE partner, seeks a Behavioral Support Professional to lead behavior support planning and training for DSPs and families in Huntington, WV. You will develop plans, analyze data, and advocate for rights while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a human services field and at least 1 year of IDD experience; WV PBSP Level 2 is preferred. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field is required.
• At least 1 year of direct experience with the IDD population.
• WV PBSP Level 2 endorsement preferred.

Responsabilités

• Complete/review behavioral assessments and train DSPs on treatment plan implementation.
• Attend IDT meetings with written recommendations and current programs.
• Analyze behavioral data monthly and document progress and revisions.
• Document billable activities with clinical reasoning and deadlines.
• Evaluate incidents within 72 hours and arrange retraining as needed.
• Provide family training to ensure continuity of care and goal generalization.
• Serve as liaison between SBH, agencies, and the community.
• Advocate for consumer rights and report restrictions to the Human Rights Committee.
• Collaborate with departments to address treatment issues and participate in investigations.
