You will lead behavior support efforts, assist in assessments and behavior plans, and analyze data to guide decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
• Valid certification (as appropriate).
• 1–3 years of successful experience.
• Understanding of and commitment to company values.
• Clear background check results (criminal and employment).
• Excellent instructional delivery and communication skills.
• Adherence to Code of Ethics for the Education Profession.

Responsibilities

• Works with students whose behavior, school progress, and social skills indicate a need for assistance.
• Consults with parents, teachers, and other school personnel to determine causes of problems and effect solutions.
• Provides behavior support and classroom management suggestions.
• Assists teachers in developing and facilitating Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans/Committee for Academic and Behavioral Supports.
• Maintains and analyzes accurate student behavior data for committees.
• Serves as a consultant to staff regarding students or situations not referred for direct service.
• Meets regularly with building administrators to discuss schoolwide behavioral trends and concerns.
• Participates as a Crisis Team member after training in non-violent crisis intervention.
• Supports ED students in self-contained settings transitioning to inclusionary environments.
• Develops and facilitates social skills groups for students.
• Serves as a resource for staff for social skills curriculum.
• Maintains knowledge of applicable policies and laws; ensures confidentiality.
