Job summary

ATTIC Correctional Services, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral / Direct Support Assistant in Madison, WI to provide security and supervision for clients, monitor their behavior, and maintain records.

The role includes assigning activities and supervising meal preparation and household tasks to build skills and accountability. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience with correctional clients, with strong interpersonal and confidentiality skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience with correctional clients preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals of diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe environment for clients.
• Supervise the client’s whereabouts and behavior.
• Maintain required paperwork – daily logs, progress notes, and incident reporting.
• Conduct facility checks.
• Assign client activities – chores and tasks, including urinalysis/breathalyzer testing.
• Supervise client meal preparation and household chores, ensuring accountability.
