Job summary

Dungarvin seeks a Behavioral Direct Support Professional to provide compassionate, person-centered support to adults with disabilities in Milwaukee. You will work days, evenings, or nights as a full-time caregiver, earning a competitive hourly wage with a weekend differential.

You’ll help clients pursue personal goals, maintain dignity and independence, and participate in community activities while documenting progress and attending required trainings.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Comfortable driving company vehicles to transport persons served.
• Willingness to learn and follow individualized support plans.
• Interest in supporting people with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to adults with mental health and developmental disabilities.
• Help individuals develop skills and participate in their communities.
• Offer encouragement, mentoring, and guidance with daily activities and life skills.
• Assist with daily living tasks and personal-care needs as required.
• Attend community activities, appointments and events.
• Complete required documentation and training.
