The role emphasizes mentorship, safety, and personal care, including medication assistance. Paid training and orientation are provided; prior experience in IDD, mental health, or security is preferred.

Qualifications

• Good communication is essential for documenting care and coordinating with the team.
• Valid driver’s license is required due to transporting persons served.
• Some positions may require driving company vehicles and auto-liability insurance based on the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities such as meals, cleaning, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Provide hands-on mentoring to help individuals become more independent.
• Offer positive direction to help individuals achieve personal goals.
• Administer medications and monitor health status.
