Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. in Peabody, MA is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Specialist I to support adults with severe mental illness within the ACCS team, delivering evidence-based, client-centered interventions in residential or community settings.

You will work Friday-Sunday, 11pm-9am (30 hrs/wk), providing transportation assistance and supporting recovery goals, with a benefits package including PTO, comprehensive benefits, retirement savings, and professional growth

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Experience working with adults with mental illness.
• Commitment to culturally competent, person-centered care.

Aufgaben

• Provide interventions focusing on problem solving, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement.
• Assist team with ongoing assessments of client symptoms and their responses to staff interventions.
• Support clients in their recovery and rehabilitation in goal development.
• Ensure services are culturally competent, strengths-based, and focused on rehabilitation and client preferences.
• Provide assistance to clients related to transportation to work sites, daily activities, and appointments.
