Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Minimum of one year experience or potential for performance.
• Ability to work cooperatively with human services professionals.
• Ability to interact professionally with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Carry out unit-specific responsibilities (shift-specific).
• Adhere to facility and behavioral services policies and procedures.
• Communicate and reinforce information about resident behavioral status to staff.
• Record behavioral data on resident-related forms.
• Coordinate coverage for sick calls and program changes.
• Report emergency restraint use to supervisors.
• Provide guidance for groups led by activity staff.
• Support program and curriculum development.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment.
• Monitor and manage resident behavior plans and crisis interventions.
• Communicate with interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in behavior/care plan meetings.
