Job summary

Cambrian Homecare, LLC (part of the Dungarvin family of companies) seeks a Staffing Coordinator – Behavioral Respite in Long Beach, CA to support a high-needs program with skilled caregivers and rapid service coordination.

You will coordinate caregiver schedules, maintain client updates, and collaborate with families, clinicians, and Regional Center partners to ensure timely staffing and quality care for individuals with behavioral support needs.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Language Skills: Bilingual English and Spanish.
• Behavioral Health Experience: 2+ years in ABA, behavioral health, or related fields.
• Coordination & Customer Service Experience: Scheduling, service coordination, or customer service in a phone-based environment.
• Microsoft 365 Proficiency: Advanced skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Scheduling & Coverage Coordination: match caregivers, ensure continuous coverage, respond to changes and urgent staffing needs.
• Client, Family & Caregiver Communication: provide updates, address concerns, deliver high-quality service communication.
• Behavior Plan & Service Coordination Support: review BSPs/IPPs and service requirements for staffing decisions.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration & Case Participation: participate in case meetings and coordinate with internal teams and partners.
• Authorization & Service Utilization Monitoring: track hours, staffing, and onboarding of new referrals.
• Documentation & Operational Support: maintain accurate scheduling records and client updates in systems.
