The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is one of the largest, most complex agencies in the state, and has approximately 17,000 employees. It is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all North Carolinians, providing human service needs for special populations including individuals who are deaf, blind, developmentally disabled, and mentally ill, and helping poor North Carolinians achieve economic independence.
This position will be responsible for direct and indirect behavioral assessment and intervention services as ancillary staff, working under the clinical supervision of a licensed psychologist or licensed psychological associate. This position will also be responsible for teaching and staff training as well as assigned tasks across organization units of the hospital. The person in this position will serve as a role model for staff and patients who demonstrate the provision of positive behavioral supports on an ongoing basis.
Salary Range: $32,287 - $56,502
