Job summary

California Behavioral Treatment Center is hiring Behavior Interventionists to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, and community settings. Under supervision, you implement individualized treatment plans, support skill development, and contribute to each client’s progress.

We offer paid training, guidance from experienced BCBAs, and opportunities to obtain RBT certification. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply and a California driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• CA driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass TB testing, criminal background check, and fingerprint clearance.
• Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA services to children and adolescents.

• Accurately collect, record, and maintain data on client progress.

We welcome candidates with no prior ABA experience— all you need is a willingness to learn and a passion for helping children thrive.

We offer comprehensive paid training, hands‑on guidance, and ongoing support from experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help you build the skills you need to succeed. Spanish candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Position Overview

The Behavior Interventionist is responsible for delivering 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, and community settings. Under the supervision of experienced clinical staff, the Behavior Interventionist implements individualized treatment plans, supports skill development, and contributes to the overall success of each client’s program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA services to children and adolescents
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by clinical supervisors
• Accurately collect, record, and maintain data on client progress
• Support treatment goals across home, school, and community environments
• Assist in implementing programs designed for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to ethical standard

Compensation

• $22.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience and education
• Paid mileage
