Responsibilities

  • Counsel individuals under supervision with emphasis on prevention and behavior modification.
  • Coordinate services addressing employment, housing, education, cognitive restructuring, mental health, life skills, and substance use.
  • Collect information via assessments, interviews, observations, and drug screening.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to develop coping skills and recovery.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Maintain confidentiality and document case notes, treatment records, and progress.

Act as an advocate to resolve crisesCollect information about individuals under supervision through assessments, interviews, observations, and random drug screening.Counsel individuals under supervision in individual and group sessions to help develop coping skills and recover from dependencies.Develop and implement treatment plansMaintain confidentiality of records relating to the client's treatmentMonitor, evaluate, and record individual progress according to measurable goals described in the treatment plan.Prepare, document, and maintain all case notes, treatment records, and reports.Facilitate substance use and/or cognitive programming, based on the needs of each circuit. Non-traditional hours may be required to ensure program delivery.
