Provides a wide range of outpatient behavioral health services to clients; this might include conducting biopsychosocial and diagnostic assessments, intake assessments for psychiatric or dual diagnosis patients, providing short-term or longer-term therapy including clients with substance abuse histories, conducting outpatient groups (including IOP and/or PHP). Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats a wide range of problems; helps patients and families resolve personal and environmental issues related to mental or physical disorders to achieve optimal functioning. Collaborates with other OPBH professionals for care coordination and treatment planning. Performs insurance reviews and obtains authorizations as needed.
Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or PhD in Clinical Psychology.
LICSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC required; MSW candidates considered if willing to obtain licensure within 6 months.
Experience/training in serious mental illness and dual diagnosis preferred.
Lifting up to 10 lbs., sitting, walking, stooping, reaching. Involves physical activity as described.
