Job summary

The Horsham Clinic is seeking a dynamic and talented Utilization Review Coordinator to evaluate medical records and determine the appropriate level of care. The UR Coordinator will liaison with insurance companies and advocate for patients’ length of stay.

This role ensures UR activities support hospital reimbursement in a multidisciplinary environment. Located in Ambler, PA, the clinic offers comprehensive behavioral health services for all ages and competitive benefits after 30 days, including

Qualifications

Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent behavior.
Must be willing to work with kids and adolescents.
Masters Level Education/ MSW required.
RN License in Pennsylvania.
Licensure in LSW/ LSCW.
Demonstrates working knowledge of behavioral health and nursing practices.
Experience interviewing patients and families for clinical information.

Responsibilities

Evaluate medical records to determine illness severity and appropriate level of care.
Serve as liaison for patients and hospital with insurance companies.
Negotiate and advocate for length of stay and level of care.
Oversee UR activities with other departments to ensure reimbursement.
