Job summary

The Horsham Clinic in Ambler, PA seeks a dynamic Utilization Review (UR) Coordinator to evaluate medical records, determine illness severity, and establish appropriate levels of care for behavioral health patients.

You will serve as a liaison among patients, the hospital and insurance companies, negotiate length of stay, oversee UR activities with other departments, and help ensure proper reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/ aggressive behavior.
• Willing to work with kids and adolescents.
• Masters level education in social work or related field.
• RN license in Pennsylvania or licensure as LSW/LSCW.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medical records to determine illness severity and level of care.
• Act as liaison between patients, hospital and insurance companies.
• Negotiate length of stay and care level for patients.
• Oversee UR activities with other departments to ensure reimbursement.
