Job summary

Canopy Children's Solutions is seeking a full-time Utilization Review Coordinator in Jackson, MS to coordinate the utilization management of behavioral health services, handle pre-certifications, and liaise with the Peer Review Organization (PRO), physicians, and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs).

You will review authorizations, manage concurrent reviews, assist with discharge planning, and support policy and quality assurance efforts while aligning with Canopy's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in a related field.
• Two (2) years' experience in a behavior health setting.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience working with children and adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interdisciplinary treatment teams and participate in staff meetings for care coordination.
• Review, evaluate and report prior authorization, concurrent reviews, and discharges for PROs and MCOs.
• Act as liaison to Medicaid/PRO and manage the prior authorization process.
