Job summary

CVS Health in Louisiana seeks an experienced Behavioral Health clinician to coordinate utilization/benefit management, document care, and collaborate with providers to ensure appropriate treatment across care levels. The role includes crisis triage and identifying at-risk members for referrals, supporting a high‑quality continuum of care.

The position requires licensure in Behavioral Health or RN with psychiatric specialization, 3 years of clinical practice, and 1 year of EMR documentation

Qualifications

• Licensed independent Behavioral Health clinician (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, LPCC, LPAT, LPC) in Louisiana or an RN with psychiatric specialty.
• 3 years clinical practice in behavioral health settings.
• 1 year EMR documentation experience.
• Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST with flexibility, including occasional weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, document, and communicate the utilization/benefit management program.
• Assess appropriateness of treatment plans across levels of care using guidelines.
• Coordinate with providers to facilitate optimal care and treatment.
• Provide triage and crisis support.
• Identify at-risk members and facilitate referrals to integrate with other services.
• Lend expertise to the coordination and administration of utilization/benefit management.
