Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a dedicated Utilization Management Coordinator to join our team. You will evaluate patient records, determine level of care, and liaise with insurers to advocate for appropriate stays and services.

The role requires strong multitasking, excellent communication, and the ability to build positive relationships with staff and patients across levels of care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
• Licensed professional (LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient medical records to determine severity of illness and appropriate level of care.
• Serve as liaison for patients and hospital with insurance companies.
• Negotiate and advocate for patient length of stay and level of care.
• Participate in the discharge planning process via Treatment Team meetings.
