SSM Health DePaul Hospital - St. Louis is seeking a Registered Nurse for Behavioral Health Urgent Care on a PRN basis. Provides direct patient care in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

The role involves completing assessments, following physician orders, educating patients and families, and ensuring safety while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Requires active RN licensure and BLS certification with flexibility for per diem shifts.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Completes admitting and shift assessments on assigned patients including behaviors and notifies physician of changes in condition.
• Documents nursing care and adheres to standards and procedures.
• Educates patients and families based on assessed needs.
• Assists in development and evaluation of multidisciplinary treatment plans.
