The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, up to 1 year of related experience, and CPI within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1 year of similar experience preferred.
• CPI within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to effective communication with visitors, callers, physicians, and staff.
• Transcribes and enters medical records data accurately and timely.
• Answers and screens calls; handles inquiries and routes to appropriate staff.
• Delivers mail daily to and from the department.
• Assists with unit staffing and coordination of billing.
