Job summary

PACE Southeast Michigan is seeking a behavioral health expert to develop and review discipline-specific training content and processes. You will deliver accurate information, supervise and train staff, and work with leadership to improve programs for participants with behavioral health needs.

Responsibilities include creating onboarding training, ensuring competency, and collaborating with clinicians and operations to ensure content accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited school.
  • Current and unrestricted licensure to practice in Michigan (LMSW required).
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a behavioral health specialist or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of educational design, training delivery, and adult learning principles.
  • Ability to evaluate, plan, implement, and monitor patient-centered care.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Strong cultural competence and ability to serve diverse populations.
  • Ability to learn and use EHR systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Positive, adaptable, solution-oriented mindset and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and train on behavioral health content and processes.
  • Assist in creating project documentation, training content, and manuals.
  • Develop onboarding training and ensure competency.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Identify process improvements and create workflows.
  • Conduct research to stay updated in the field.
  • Contribute to policies and procedures for the area.
  • Lead or participate in training sessions, webinars, and workshops.
  • Review others’ content for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide guidance based on expertise to cross-functional teams.
  • Consult across operations and mentor staff.
  • Discuss technical or software needs for projects.
  • Champion discipline-specific projects and partnerships with leadership.
  • Support program development with psychiatrists, pharmacists, and medical director.
