Job summary

Clinica Sierra Vista is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist to provide direct mental health psychotherapy to adults, children, and families under supervision. The role emphasizes an interdisciplinary team approach, recovery-oriented care, and strong documentation practices.

Supervised hours toward licensure are available, with potential weekend shifts. A California driver’s license may be required, and bilingual skills can be advantageous in serving our diverse community.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college/university in Psychology, MFC, Social Work, or related field.
• Eligibility for California BBS ASW/AMFT registration.
• Licensure within 6 years of initial registration.
• Commitment to recovery-oriented, strength-based care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group and family psychotherapy within scope.
• Screen adults/children for treatment appropriateness and diagnose co-occurring disorders.
• Coordinate with Case Manager and community resources.
• Maintain accurate client records in EHR and progress notes.
• Deliver presentations and participate in team training; weekend shifts as needed.
