Job summary

Clinica Sierra Vista is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist in Delano, CA. The role provides direct mental health psychotherapy and co-occurring services for diverse clients, under supervision to accrue licensure hours.

The position requires a Master’s in a relevant field and eligibility for CA ASW/AMFT registration, with licensure target within six years. Weekend shifts may be included. EHR documentation is utilized daily.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Marriage and Family Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Eligibility for CA Board of Behavioral Sciences ASW or AMFT registration.
• Obtain California licensure within 6 years of registration.
• Within 90 days of hire obtain AMFT or ASW registration number.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group and family psychotherapy per scope of practice.
• Screens adults/children for treatment suitability and conducts psychosocial assessments.
• Maintains communication with the Case Manager and coordinates referrals.
• Keeps accurate records and uses an electronic health record (EHR).
• May work weekend shifts (Saturdays 9:00–1:00).
