UW Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist, Substance Use to join our multidisciplinary team in Madison. You will provide evidence-based treatment to adults and adolescents, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans with ongoing individual and group therapy.

This hybrid role blends telehealth and in-clinic care, with a typical schedule of Monday–Friday and occasional evenings. UW Health supports growth through tuition benefits and a comprehensive wellbeing program.

Formación

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other behavioral health related field Required
• 2 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment for behavioral health diagnoses Required
• 5 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment Preferred

• Provide substance use and mental health treatments to adults and adolescents.
• Perform assessments, treatment planning, ongoing individual and group therapy, care coordination, and related documentation.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and professionals.

Work Schedule:
100% FTE. Monday through Friday, primarily day shifts with at least one evening shift. This is a hybrid position with an average of three days in person and two days working remotely from home.

Pay:

This position may be eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other behavioral health related field Required

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment for a variety of behavioral health diagnoses for children, adolescents, or adults Required
• 5 years of experience providing evidence-based treatment for a variety of behavioral health diagnoses for children, adolescents, or adults Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Professional Counselor Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Upon Hire Required and
• Basic Life Support/CPR within 6 months Required and
• Substance Abuse Counselor Upon Hire Preferred or
• Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor Upon Hire Preferred
