Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mental health field (e.g., counseling, social work, art, recreational, music therapy).
• DSM-V knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts therapy assessments and group and individual therapy for inpatient psychiatric adult, child, and adolescent patients.
• Completes documentation accurately and timely.
• Cross-train as appropriate to credentials, licensure, scope of practice and department need.
• Completes assessments to determine patient strengths and needs and documents charges daily.
• Active participation in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintains patient focus.
• Works in Outpatient Behavioral Health providing group therapy as needed.
