Job summary

UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Safe Harbor in Erie, PA is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Therapist I to support patient recovery. You will assess, develop treatment plans, provide individual and group therapy, and coordinate care within a co-located facility.

The role offers supervision towards clinical hours for licensure and a sign-on bonus of $7,000. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with on-site parking and a business casual environment.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the quality assurance, performance improvement and treatment team meetings to monitor progress and update care plans.
• Completes timely, accurate clinical documentation and maintain productivity records; coordinates with insurance and patient access for authorizations.
• Conducts assessments, develops and updates treatment plans, and adapts interventions based on patient needs.
• Provides individual/group therapy and patient education; involves families when appropriate.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to review cases, address changes in condition, and coordinate referrals and continuum of care.

In this role, you will partner closely with our team members, who will support, provide guidance and share their expertise.
