UPMC's Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) serves students in the State College Area School District and supports adolescents with psychiatric conditions to function in school and community. The program offers evaluations, medication management, and a range of counseling services, including individual, group, and family therapy.
This role requires a Master's degree and provides a pathway to LIC/LCPC credentials; one year of experience is preferred.
IOP (intensive outpatient program) serves State College Area School District students in grades 6-12. This is a unique partnership between UPMC and State College Area School District. The Intensive Outpatient Program supports adolescents who need treatment/services due to a psychiatric condition that is interfering with their ability to function successfully within the community/school. This program is designed to avoid a higher level of care or to use as a step-down service within a mental health continuum. Youth may receive psychiatric evaluations, medication management services, individual, group, or family counseling.
Sign-on Bonus: This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of $7,000 for a 2-year work commitment!

Passed the examination required by 49.11. relating to licensure examination. Must sign a license agreement and be actively working to obtain the Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW), or Licensed Family Marriage Therapist (LMFT) within 30 months of hire.
