Job summary

UPMC's Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) serves students in the State College Area School District and supports adolescents with psychiatric conditions to function in school and community. The program offers evaluations, medication management, and a range of counseling services, including individual, group, and family therapy.

This role requires a Master's degree and provides a pathway to LIC/LCPC credentials; one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and DSM application is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, evaluate treatment needs, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group therapy and educate patients on recovery and wellness.
• Coordinate referrals to appropriate levels of care and community resources.
