Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide counseling services across individual, marital, and family modalities. You will work with clients from children to the elderly, in outpatient or inpatient settings as needed, and maintain clinical records and treatment plans.

Responsibilities include triage and referrals, collaboration with psychiatry and psychology teams, and participation in program planning and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of prior job-related work experience; PA State LCSW, LPC, or Psychologist licensure.
• Ph.D. in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides counseling services in individual, marital and family modalities to improve or maintain functioning in family, vocational and community roles.
• Services are provided to children, adolescents, adults, and elderly clients across age groups.
• Outpatient or inpatient service delivery, including IOP, based on program needs.
• Completes and maintains clinical records and prepares reports for insurance/referral agencies.
• Develops written treatment plans and coordinates referrals for psychiatric and psychological assessment.
• Provides on-call contact with clients to assess urgency and manage care; on-call caseload coverage as needed.
• Contributes to Counseling Center programs, policies, and procedures; supports quality assurance and staff training.
